Genesis And Foundations Contribute $40K To Boost Youth Sports And Arts Education In Utah
Genesis, Genesis Inspiration Foundation, and Genesis of Lindon have collectively donated $40,000 to support youth sports and arts education in Utah. This donation celebrates the opening of Genesis' first dedicated retail facility in the state. The funds will benefit the Tony Finau Foundation’s junior golf programs and The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater’s education center.
The Tony Finau Foundation focuses on empowering under-resourced youth to achieve their goals both academically and athletically. Through funding, equipment donations, and mentorship from Tony Finau, the foundation supports junior golf programs across Utah. Each year, two promising golfers with ties to Utah receive financial assistance to pursue careers in the PGA or LPGA tours.
"We are so grateful for this generous donation from Genesis Gives and Genesis of Lindon," said Chelsea Fairbourn, executive director of the Tony Finau Foundation. "This donation will allow us to support youth sports, especially golf, in a meaningful way and provide opportunities for kids that may not have the chance to participate and compete otherwise."
The Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater aims to redefine Utah Valley's cultural landscape by offering world-class entertainment and fostering artistic talent. The theater's education center will benefit from the donation, expanding opportunities for youth to explore and excel in the arts through the Hale Youth Academy.

"At The Ruth, our goal is to change lives through connection, education, and the power of theater. Having partners like Genesis Inspiration Foundation and Genesis of Lindon who share in that vision is extraordinary."
Genesis Gives Initiative
Genesis Gives is a corporate social responsibility initiative from Genesis Motor America aimed at improving access to quality youth sports in communities. Since 2022, Genesis has donated nearly $1.8 million to support various community initiatives across the country.

Together with Genesis of Lindon, we are committed to nurturing the talents of future generations through support for local youth sports and arts programs."
Genesis Inspiration Foundation
The Genesis Inspiration Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting youth with arts programs that inspire creativity and improve educational outcomes. Since its inception in 2018, it has donated $10 million to fund youth arts programming at museums, schools, and nonprofit art organizations nationwide.
With support from Genesis retailers and charitable donations, the foundation introduces children in under-resourced communities to new possibilities through arts education.
