Genesis And Foundation Donate $30,000 To Boost STEAM Education In Charlotte
In a significant move to support education in the arts and sciences, Genesis Motor America, through its philanthropic arms Genesis Gives and the Genesis Inspiration Foundation, has announced a generous donation totaling $30,000 to enhance STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education in Charlotte, N.C. This contribution underscores the automotive brand's commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the local community as it expands its retail presence in North Carolina.
The funds were allocated to two Charlotte-based organizations, with Thrive Global Project receiving $10,000 and Do Greater Charlotte benefiting from a $20,000 donation. These contributions aim to empower underserved students by providing them with access to quality educational opportunities and resources in STEAM fields.

Claudia Marquez, Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Motor North America, expressed enthusiasm about the company's first dedicated facility in North Carolina. She highlighted the importance of community engagement and the role of retailer partners like Genesis of Charlotte in nurturing future innovators.
Thrive Global Project is renowned for its efforts to increase racial and gender equity and enable economic mobility through innovative programs. The donation from Genesis will support programming and scholarships for local college students pursuing STEAM degrees, as well as provide essential resources for students involved in sports.
