Genesis Strengthens US Leadership With Strategic Director Appointments

Genesis has announced four new director appointments in the United States, aiming to bolster its corporate strategy, field operations, customer experience, and aftersales. These appointments are expected to enhance the brand's market position through strategic initiatives, increased sales momentum, and improved customer service standards.

Ethan Snyder will lead Genesis Motor America's corporate strategy. He will support the executive team by spearheading broad strategic initiatives. Snyder will collaborate with sales, marketing, product planning, and customer experience teams to develop and implement vehicle launch strategies. He will also focus on consumer research initiatives that align with the brand's objectives. Snyder reports to Claudia Marquez, Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Motor North America.

Genesis Boosts US Team

"Ethan’s breadth of leadership experience across various business functions is a crucial asset in leading Genesis corporate strategy," said Marquez. "I look forward to working with Ethan to drive our strategic initiatives forward, boosting Genesis sales and enhancing our brand’s awareness among consumers."

Celso Rochez will oversee field operations and strategy for Genesis Motor America. His responsibilities include direct sales planning, analysis, forecasting, and optimizing promotional resources to support sales volume and market share growth. Rochez will also manage teams responsible for retail process improvement, training, sales planning, analytics, and forecasting. He reports to Tedros Mengiste, Vice President of Sales Operations at Genesis Motor America.

Customer Experience Enhancement

Kiri Kiely-Rodriguez will lead customer experience and training at Genesis Motor America. She will be responsible for all training programs and customer satisfaction efforts aimed at achieving high customer loyalty. Kiely-Rodriguez will also oversee retailer profitability initiatives. She reports directly to Claudia Marquez.

"As the brand’s retail network expands, providing an elevated customer experience at every standalone facility remains our top priority," said Marquez. "Since joining the brand, Kiri has made remarkable progress to address and improve customer experience and satisfaction."

Aftersales Management

John Gramata will take charge of aftersales as director starting September 16, 2024. He will handle owner marketing and parts operations to boost owner retention throughout the buyer lifecycle. Gramata will work closely with various departments including marketing, sales, finance, customer experience, field organizations, retail groups, and vendors to define standards for sales, parts, service, and capacity. He reports to Claudia Marquez.

Snyder previously served as Director of Product Research Analytics at Rivian where he led his team through rapid growth while conducting consumer research for vehicle programs. Rochez held leadership roles at Mercedes-Benz USA where he achieved record-breaking sales figures for EVs and luxury vehicles. Kiely-Rodriguez was Senior Group Manager of Customer Experience & Training at Genesis Motor America before her promotion. Gramata was Director of Customer Care at Hyundai Motor North America prior to joining Genesis.

These strategic appointments reflect Genesis' commitment to strengthening its market position through enhanced corporate strategy initiatives, robust field operations management, superior customer experiences, and optimized aftersales services.
