Friends Of Laguna Seca And A&D Narigi Consulting To End Management Agreement By Year-End 2024
The management agreement between Friends of Laguna Seca and A&D Narigi Consulting, LLC will end on December 31, 2024. Since 2020, A&D Narigi, LLC has played a crucial role in restoring the financial health of the Laguna Seca Recreation Area, including WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Improvements such as a new racing surface and the Mission Foods Bridge have been made during this period.
Ross Merrill, president of Friends of Laguna Seca, expressed gratitude for these contributions. "Since 2020, A&D Narigi, LLC has done a great service to Monterey County and Laguna Seca Recreation Area, including WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, in returning the operations of the facility to profitability and in the many improvements made to the park during the past few years, including the new racing surface and Mission Foods Bridge," he stated.
Friends of Laguna Seca will assume management responsibilities while keeping all current employees. The organisation is optimistic about the future under its new operational framework. John Narigi, president of A&D Narigi Consulting, LLC, shared his pride in his team's achievements over the past five years. He noted that ending the agreement aligns with their vision for Laguna Seca's future.
"I have put a lot of time and effort into Laguna Seca Recreation Area and WeatherTech Raceway, and I am extremely proud of my teams’ efforts, which have yielded impressive results, as well as my personal and professional commitment to its future these past five years," said Narigi.
WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is a globally recognised motorsport venue located in Monterey, California. Managed by Friends of Laguna Seca, a non-profit organisation, it is renowned for hosting top-tier racing events. The raceway's challenging turns and elevation changes include the iconic Corkscrew turn.
