Formula DRIFT And GRIDLIFE Announce Exciting Collaboration For Major Drift Event At Road Atlanta In May 2025
Formula DRIFT and GRIDLIFE have announced a collaboration for the Formula DRIFT Championship's second round at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. This event, taking place from May 8-10, 2025, will be a unique partnership between a track owner and two sanctioning bodies to deliver top-notch drift entertainment in the Southeast. The weekend promises to be action-packed with both PRO and PROSPEC Championships on display.
Fans can look forward to practice sessions, competitive tandem Seeding Bracket Qualification, Top 32 Competition Heats, and driver autograph sessions. GRIDLIFE will enhance the event by introducing its Time Attack, GLTC Touring Cup, and Rush SR series. A highlight will be the GRIDLIFE Full Course Drift event on the 2.54-mile track.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone as it brings together the best drifters globally with GRIDLIFE participants. Road Atlanta holds a special place in Formula DRIFT history as the only track used throughout its 22-year run. It is one of the most anticipated events each year, hosting Round 2 of the FD PRO Championship and the opening round of the PROSPEC Championship.

Upcoming Events and Ticket Information
The Opening Round of the 2025 Formula DRIFT PRO Championship begins on April 4-5 on Long Beach streets. The FD PROSPEC Championship's first round occurs at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta from May 8-10 alongside Round 2 of PRO competition.
Tickets for all Formula DRIFT events will soon be available at formulad.com. Fans can secure their spots for this inaugural FD x GRIDLIFE event or other rounds except for the Final, which will be released later.
