Formula Drift Unveils Comprehensive 2025 Schedule And Provisional Driver Line-Up
The 2025 Formula DRIFT season is gearing up with exciting announcements. The series has revealed its event schedule and provisional driver line-up. However, a significant change looms as Irwindale Speedway will close in 2025. This venue has hosted every PRO Championship battle for 21 years. Talks are ongoing to find a new location in Southern California, with an announcement expected soon.
Despite the closure of Irwindale, the 2025 Formula DRIFT PRO and PROSPEC Championship schedules remain largely unchanged. The series will continue to utilise venues that have seen recent improvements. The schedule includes stops at iconic locations such as the Streets of Long Beach and Road Atlanta.
The 2025 championship kicks off on April 4-5 at the Streets of Long Beach. Other notable venues include Orlando Speed World in May and Englishtown Raceway in June. The season will also feature events at World Wide Tech Raceway and Evergreen Speedway, among others.

{TABLE_X}In addition to the schedule, the provisional driver line-up for both PRO and PROSPEC Championships has been announced. Familiar faces return alongside new talents from other series. Notably, Tommy Lemaire, Connor O’Sullivan, and Austin Matta join from this year’s PROSPEC Finals.
Jack Shanahan from Ireland is another exciting addition to the series. He is a multiple Irish and British drift champion and a two-time runner-up in Drift Masters. His brother Conor Shanahan made waves in FD PRO competition this year.
Luke Fink from Australia also joins the roster. Known as a drift champion and YouTuber, Fink aims to make his mark on the 2025 FD PRO Championship just as he has done in Australia.
The youngest Sorensen sibling, Cameren Sorensen, is petitioning to join PROSPEC. At just 13 years old, Cameren hopes to follow in the footsteps of Amanda and Branden Sorensen.
