Indian Racing Festival Qualifying Session Leaves Spectators Speechless – Thrills Like Never Before
Formula 4 cars have set the Chennai street course on fire after a thrilling qualifying session. The spectators of the event were thrilled to see the cars on full swing, resulting in a social media frenzy.
After yesterday's minor setback, the day started with 2nd free practice of the JK FLGB 4 cars at around 11:15am. During this session, the fastest time of 02:05.746 was set by D Goswami of Team MSport.

Following this, the free practice session for the Formula 4 category commenced. Out of the 16 drivers who participated, H Barter of the GodSpeed Kochi set the fastest time of 1:44.680.
Soon lap times started dropping down as the qualifying sessions commenced for respective categories. The qualifying session started with JK FLGB 4 Qualifying 1 and was quickly dominated by N. McPherson of Momentum Motorsport with a time of 02:03.886. His benchmark was triled by D TS of Dark Don Racing (02:04.022) and N Datta of MSport (02:04.141).

For the JK FLGB 4 Qualifying 2, the pole position was taken by S Sankaran of MSport with a time of 02:07.383. His timing ws closely followed by A Lal (02:07.394) and A Toppo (02:13.411) of Avalance Racing.
The Indian Racing Leage category Driver B Qualifying saw timing sheets tumble to 1:40s with Speed Demons taking the pole with a time of 1:40.430 (A Gowda, A Parante). The 2nd and 3rd place in this session were taken by Sharchi Rarh Bengal Tigers (A Yoong, N Bohra), and Bangalore Speedsters (C Wood, R Rajeev) with a time of (1:40.970) and (1:41.253), respectively.

Once the Qualifying 1 session commenced for the Formula 4 category, H Barter of GodSpeed Kochi once again took the pole with a time of 1:43.158. His time was trailed by R Alva of Sharchi Rarh Bengal Tigers (1:44.706) and A Alibhai of Black Birds Hyderabad (1:44.891).
The Qualifying 2 session was stopped temporarily due to a red flag, however, the timing sheets were set on fire by D Nandan of Ahmedabad Apex Racers with a time of 1:44.690. His benchmark time was closely followed by J Pariat of Banglore Speedsters (1:44.740) and A Alibhai of Black Birds Hyderabad (1:45.662).
