Ford Enhances Raptor Models With Significant Performance Upgrades
Ford engineers have enhanced the 3.0-liter EcoBoost® engine in the Ranger Raptor and Bronco Raptor, boosting low-end torque and horsepower through a new software calibration from Ford Performance Parts. The Ranger Raptor now sees torque increase from 430 to 536 lb.-ft., and horsepower rise from 405 to 455. Similarly, the Bronco Raptor's torque jumps from 440 to 536 lb.-ft., with horsepower climbing from 418 to 455.
The upgrades, available for the 2024 Ranger Raptor and both the 2023 and 2024 Bronco Raptors, improve throttle response and optimize shift schedules. This results in a more powerful driving experience. The MSRP for these enhancements is $825, which can also be purchased using Ford Pass Rewards points.
Owners who register their vehicles and attend the Raptor Rally near the Ford Performance Racing School in Fairfield, Utah, on September 21 will receive a 20% discount coupon. This coupon is valid for the calibration tool and other eligible accessories at performanceparts.ford.com. Terms and conditions apply.
The Raptor Rally costs $500 and includes access for the vehicle owner and one guest. The event offers off-road driving experiences, trail rides, expert workshops, meet-and-greets with professional off-road racers, hot lap opportunities, exclusive giveaways, meals, and more. The calibration can be purchased online (Bronco Raptor Calibration, Ranger Raptor Calibration) for installation at a local dealer. These calibrations meet Ford's durability standards and are covered by the vehicle’s three-year, 36,000-mile Ford Performance parts warranty.
