Ford Pro Delivers E-Transit With Extended Range Across North America
The 2024 E-Transit with Enhanced Range, the latest iteration of America's top-selling electric van, is now available to customers throughout North America. This updated model boasts up to 32% more range, reaching up to 159 miles on a single charge. It also features faster charging times due to new dual onboard chargers and includes 2.4 kW of Pro Power Onboard, which can be used while driving.
The enhanced range capability of the E-Transit provides an estimated range of up to 159 miles with 89 kWh of usable energy. This allows for extended work over longer distances and supports new use cases such as refrigerated delivery. The dual onboard chargers now offer a charging time that is 22% faster when using Ford Pro’s 80A Series 2 charger. Additionally, Ford Pro charging software helps identify optimal charging times.
Ford Motor Company has highlighted the sustainability benefits of the E-Transit. The vehicle has saved over 3 million gallons of gas and reduced CO2 emissions by more than 25 million kilograms. This reduction is comparable to planting 413,377 tree seedlings and allowing them to grow for ten years.
