Ford Mustang Celebrates 60 Years With Limited Edition Brittany Blue Package
Ford is reintroducing the classic Brittany Blue paint for the Mustang 60th Anniversary package. This colour joins previously announced Wimbledon White, Race Red, and Vapor Blue. Limited quantities are available. Interested buyers can register on Ford.com from August 16-19.
The Mustang 60th Anniversary Package is a limited-production model, with only 1,965 units available. This number commemorates the first model year of the car in 1965. The package includes exclusive features such as unique badges on the fenders and trunk lid, reminiscent of the original 1965 Mustang cloisonné badges.
Joe Bellino, Mustang brand manager, stated, "Mustang has thrived for 60 years by taking risks and giving customers something a little bit different, a little bit more special than you’d get elsewhere." He added that introducing a colour like Brittany Blue allows customers to stand out even among other Mustang 60th Anniversary owners.
The package also includes unique side graphics that can be optioned in Iconic Silver or Vermillion Red. These graphics are reminiscent of Mustang’s original rocker panel stripes. Additionally, there are new grille designs with silver-accented nostrils that function as air intakes for the 5.0-liter V8 engine.
The car comes with exclusive 20-inch wheels finished in Dark Gravity Gray with bright machined details. These wheels feature a Vermillion Red retro-themed stamped aluminium centre cap inspired by the 1965 Mustang centre caps. The smoked housing of standard Mustang Nite Pony headlights allows these silver-accented nostrils to stand out.
Modern and Classic Colour Options
The Mustang 60th Anniversary Package is available in classic Wimbledon White, modern Race Red, Vapor Blue colours, and exclusive Brittany Blue. Iconic Silver mirror caps on Race Red, Vapor Blue, and Brittany Blue cars recall chrome mirrors from older models, while Wimbledon White cars adopt body-colour mirror caps.
From August 16 to August 19, interested customers can register their interest on Ford.com. Selected customers will be notified via email by August 21 and must choose their dealer within seven days. They will have access to a VIP team to assist them through the dealer selection and order process if they choose.
Pricing and Availability
The cost of the 2025 Mustang 60th Anniversary package in Brittany Blue is $65,245. Customers can register their interest today at Ford.com. Fans attending the 2024 Woodward Dream Cruise can see the Brittany Blue Mustang in person at Ford’s Mustang Alley display in Ferndale, Michigan.
New Digital Gauge Cluster
Ford continues celebrating Mustang's legacy with a new digital instrument cluster design inspired by the 1999-2001 Mustang SVT Cobra. This cluster shows classic white dials during the day and backlights details in icy blue at night. It was part of a software update introduced on April 17 for Mustang’s 60th birthday.
This update will activate on August 17 at midnight ET for all 2024 Mustang customers who have Automatic Software Updates turned "On" and set for a recurring schedule in their Software Updates Settings menu.
