Force Gurkha 5-Door SUV – New Features, Dual Tone Interiors & More
The upcoming 5-door iteration of the Force Gurkha SUV is among the most awaited off-road SUVs in India. Now, the automaker is planning to launch this more family-friendly version of the Gurkha SUV in the Indian automobile market.
Ahead of the imminent launch of the Force Gurkha 5-door SUV, the company has released a series of new teasers to build excitement. Furthermore, these new teasers reveal a few exciting features of the upcoming Force Furkha 5-door SUV.

That being said, here are some of the highlighting features of the upcoming new Force Gurkha 5-door SUV that were revealed with the series of latest teasers. Furthermore, we also expect Force Motors to make the Gurkha 5-door SUV more welcoming and hospitable for a wider range of buyers.
For starters, the upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door comes with 3 rows of seating, significantly boosting the practicality of the model. Moreover, the most recent teaser confirms that the upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door SUV will come with a 2+3+2 seating configuration.

This means the Gurkha 5-door comes with 2 captain seats on the front and last row along with a bench seat in the middle, a unique configuration considering most 3-row SUVs come with a small bench seat at the rear, which in most cases are suitable only for children.
The upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door SUV also comes with a very modern-looking full-colour TFT instrument cluster that is capable of showing various parameters such as engine speed, vehicle speed, fuel, tyre pressure, odometer reading, and much more.

As mentioned, the upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door SUV also comes with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). In fact, the model even comes with TPMS for the spare wheel, a very useful feature for off-road enthusiasts.
Other noticeable features on the upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door SUV include a bigger touchscreen infotainment unit, a manual handbrake, manual front and rear differential locks, and a shift-on-fly 4WD system. The model will also incorporate dual-tone interior.

Looking at the exterior, we can see that the upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door SUV comes equipped with LED headlights with LED DRLS, a snorkel, new alloy wheels, and a roof rack. However, we expect the roof rack to be part of optional accessories.
Powering the Force Gurkha 5-door SUV is expected to be the same tried-and-tested, 2.6-litre Mercedes-derived common rail, direct-injection, turbocharged diesel engine. This BS6 phase 2 compliant engine produces 91bhp and 250Nm of peak torque in the outgoing version of the Force Gurkha.

Thanks to the 5-door layout and the additional space on offer, the Force Gurkha SUV will become more hospitable and family-friendly than ever before. We also expect the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha to be priced at least Rs 1 lakh more expensive.
