First Retail Production 2025 Cadillac ESCALADE IQ EV Auction Raises $550,000 For Detroit Children’s Fund

The Detroit Children’s Fund, a nonprofit focused on providing quality education for Detroit's youth, is set to receive $550,000. This amount comes from the auction of the first retail production all-electric 2025 Cadillac ESCALADE IQ, VIN 001. The auction took place at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale on October 12, 2024, with Barrett-Jackson waiving all associated fees and commissions.

General Motors President Mark Reuss expressed excitement about the auction's outcome. "The education of its children is paramount to the stability and long-term health of any city, and we’re thrilled that the sale of the first ESCALADE IQ will benefit the work the Detroit Children’s Fund is doing in our hometown," he stated. He also thanked Barrett-Jackson for their role in supporting this charitable cause.
