Bugatti Celebrates Festive Season At Château Saint Jean With Exclusive Christmas Gathering
Bugatti recently celebrated its 115th anniversary with a festive gathering at Château Saint Jean. The event brought together 80 esteemed customers and dealers from around the world for a special Christmas dinner. This intimate occasion allowed guests to reflect on an extraordinary year filled with shared experiences and memorable moments, marking another chapter in Bugatti's storied history.
The evening was marked by the presence of the W16 Mistral World Record Car, which set a new record as the fastest open-top car at 453.91 km/h. Guests also admired the Tourbillon, an icon of Bugatti's new era, known for its global success and record-breaking launch. These achievements were celebrated alongside other notable events like the Bugatti Grand Tour in Morocco and the Bugatti Grand Prix in Las Vegas.
Amidst the festive atmosphere, guests enjoyed seasonal jazz music, roaring fires, and illuminated Christmas trees. The celebration included exquisite apéritifs such as champagne and mulled wine, served from pinewood chalets reminiscent of Alsatian Christmas markets. This enchanting setting provided a perfect backdrop for creating new lifelong memories.
The highlight of the evening was an intimate three-course dinner held within the Château itself. This rare occasion paid homage to Ettore Bugatti's vision of welcoming customers into a space where unforgettable experiences could be shared. Guests were invited to inscribe personal notes on festive baubles, symbolising their connection to the Bugatti family.
A charitable auction was also held during the event, supporting Semeurs d’Étoiles, a local charity focused on caring for hospitalised children and their families. A car bonnet adorned with sketches by Jascha Straub was auctioned off, with The Singh Collection from Punjab donating €50,000. This generous act exemplified the spirit of giving that defined the evening.
Reflecting on Cherished Memories
Guests had the opportunity to share stories and memories with key figures from Bugatti, including Mate Rimac, Christophe Piochon, Hendrik Malinowski, and Andy Wallace. Wallace recounted his experience setting a top-speed record with the W16 Mistral World Record Car. The owner of this remarkable vehicle expressed deep gratitude during this emotional moment.
As guests departed Château Saint Jean, they took home framed family pictures and snow globes featuring the iconic Dancing Elephant. These tokens served as reminders of an unforgettable evening filled with camaraderie and cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
