Ferrari Announces Six Dynamic UK Debuts At Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2024
Ferrari North Europe has announced the UK dynamic debut of six models at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This event will showcase Italian design, performance, and innovation. Ferrari collectors will also display classic racing models, including the Ferrari 166 and the Ferrari 640 Formula One car. In total, 26 unique Ferraris will ascend the famous Goodwood Hill.
The Ferrari Roma Spider offers a blend of elegance, performance, and versatility with its open-air design. It is powered by a 90-degree twin-turbo V8 engine with a displacement of 3855 cc, delivering 620 cv at 5750-7500 rpm for thrilling drives.
The Ferrari SP-8 is a unique creation designed to a private client's specifications as part of Ferrariās One-Off programme. Its most distinctive feature is its lack of a roof, making it a true two-seater roadster that highlights its sporty nature.
The Ferrari SF90 XX Spider enhances performance to an impressive 1,030 cv, utilising new software logics and radical aerodynamics solutions. It features a fixed rear spoiler, the first on a road-going Ferrari since the F50.
The Ferrari 812 Competizione Aperta is a limited-edition targa-top version based on the Ferrari 812 Superfast. It honours Ferrari's tradition of open-top cars and allows drivers to enjoy the sound of its naturally aspirated V12 engine.
Among the classic models displayed are the Ferrari 333 SP endurance racer and the highly successful Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo. These models represent significant milestones in Ferrari's racing history and commitment to performance.
The Scuderia Ferrari F1 team will also be present with the Ferrari F2001 from 2001 and the SF70H from 2017. These cars highlight Ferrari's rich history in Formula One racing.
Track-Only Innovations
The Ferrari 499P Modificata, revealed in 2023, is derived from the Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P Hypercar. This track-only model is developed directly from a racing car without technical regulations' limitations and is aimed at gentleman drivers for circuit use only.
The Ferrari 296 Challenge offers both professional and amateur drivers exceptional responsiveness and handling. Derived from the 296 GTB, this mid-rear V6-engined berlinetta allows participants in Ferrari's one-make championship to enjoy race weekends on top tracks worldwide.
