Ferrari Rolls Out Extended Warranty Services For Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles

Ferrari has unveiled two new extended warranty services for its plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models. These services, named Warranty Extension Hybrid and Power Hybrid, are designed for the SF90 Stradale, SF90 Spider, SF90 XX Stradale, SF90 XX Spider, 296 GTB, and 296 GTS. This initiative marks a first for Ferrari's PHEV cars.

Owners can purchase these warranties in packages that are renewable for two to four years. These packages can be activated by any dealer within Ferrari's official network, regardless of the car's production year. Even vehicles no longer under factory warranty can opt for these programmes after a technical inspection by Ferrari personnel.

New Ferrari Hybrid Warranties

The Warranty Extension Hybrid programme offers a comprehensive factory-backed warranty covering the entire car. If owners extend this warranty up to the eighth year, Ferrari will replace the high-voltage battery pack (HVB) at no additional cost. This ensures that the vehicle maintains its performance and excellence over time.

The Power Hybrid programme allows clients to extend the factory warranty on all major powertrain components from year 8 to year 16. This includes components related to the hybrid system. Additionally, it guarantees a free replacement of the HVB in the 16th year, ensuring continued high performance with state-of-the-art technology.

Both programmes ensure that any future developments in battery technology will be incorporated into replacement HVBs. This guarantees that new components will match or exceed the performance of the original ones. These warranties also transfer to any subsequent owner, providing long-term value and peace of mind.
