Ferrari To Offer Cryptocurrency Payments Across European Dealerships
Ferrari is set to expand its cryptocurrency payment system to European dealers by the end of July 2024. This move follows the successful implementation of the system in the United States less than a year ago. The initiative aims to help dealers meet the changing needs of their clients.
By the close of 2024, Ferrari plans to extend cryptocurrency transactions to other countries within its international dealer network where such payments are legally accepted. This expansion is part of Ferrari's broader strategy to modernise its payment options globally.
Ferrari is collaborating with several companies specialising in cryptocurrency payments to ensure secure transactions. These partnerships will enable dealers to accept payments without directly handling cryptocurrencies, as they will be converted into traditional currency immediately.
The solutions provided by these companies will also verify the source of funds and protect transactions from exchange rate fluctuations. This ensures that both dealers and customers can transact with confidence, knowing their payments are secure and stable.
Currently, most of Ferrari's European dealers have either adopted or are in the process of adopting this new payment system. This addition complements traditional payment methods, offering more flexibility to clients.
