Five New Ferrari Apprentices Graduate At Silverstone Challenge Event

Five Ferrari Apprentices have successfully graduated at a ceremony held during the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli UK event at Silverstone. The event took place on 16 September 2024, celebrating the achievements of these new graduates who completed their apprenticeships with Ferrari.

The Ferrari North Europe Apprentice programme is designed for individuals with at least five GCSEs who are keen to work at an official Ferrari dealership. The programme offers roles such as Light Vehicle Technician, Service Advisor, and Parts Advisor. Apprentices receive full-time employment and on-the-job training from Ferrari Master Technicians.

Graduates receiving their certifications included Cameron McKean (Service Advisor) from Jardine Colchester, Daniel Humphrey-Shepard (Light Vehicle Technician) from JCT600 Leeds, James Matthews (Light Vehicle Technician) from Dick Lovett Swindon, Alex Raven (Light Vehicle Technician) from HR Owen London, and Samuel Hill (Light Vehicle Technician) from Graypaul Nottingham.

In addition to practical training at dealerships, apprentices also undergo classroom and theory sessions at Ferrari’s Technical Training Centre in Berkshire. Upon satisfactory completion of the programme, apprentices are offered full-time positions at their local Ferrari dealerships. This apprenticeship route has become a standard entry point into the brand.

Many employees who began as apprentices have advanced to other roles within the company, including Workshop Manager, Service Manager, or Sales Executive. This progression highlights the effectiveness of the apprenticeship programme in developing skilled professionals for various positions within Ferrari.
