Fernando Alonso Unveils His Bespoke Aston Martin Valkyrie In Monaco
Aston Martin’s Aramco Formula 1® Team driver, Fernando Alonso, recently received his new Aston Martin Valkyrie in Monaco. This hypercar, designed with input from Alonso himself, is a true F1® car for the road. The bespoke specification was created in collaboration with Q by Aston Martin.
Alonso's Valkyrie features a unique Satin Aston Martin Racing Green paint job with AMR Satin Lime Graphics. These graphics highlight the car's aerodynamic features. The Venturi Tunnel has been enhanced with Speed Red and Light and Dark Blue painted graphics. Exposed Carbon Fibre is used on the roof, engine cover, and lower aero parts, while a Titanium Aston Martin Wings badge adorns the nose.
Inside the cabin, exposed carbon fibre continues to dominate. Pure Black Alcantra is paired with contrasting AMR Lime stitching. Alonso’s logo is embroidered into the headrests using AMR Lime thread. A red anodised aluminium accelerator pedal etched with the number ‘14’ pays homage to Alonso’s karting world champion number.
The Aston Martin Valkyrie boasts a hybrid 6.5-litre V12 powertrain that delivers 1,155PS of maximum power. It can accelerate from 0-60mph in under 2.5 seconds. The hypercar incorporates F1® inspired aerodynamics and performance for an intense driving experience on the road.
Each Valkyrie is built at Aston Martin’s UK Headquarters in Gaydon by a dedicated project delivery team. The build process takes over 2000 man hours per car, with each vehicle being hand-built by skilled technicians. Before delivery, each Valkyrie undergoes track testing at Silverstone.
