Euler Storm EV & Storm EV LR Launched In India At Rs 8.99 Lakh
Euler Motors has recently made a significant leap into the light commercial vehicle sector with the introduction of their Storm EV and Storm EV LR (Long Range) electric 4-wheelers. These models are designed to cater to the diverse needs of India's logistical sector, reflecting the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
The Storm EV stands out with its 2 variants, the T1250 and T1250 Armoured, each boasting a 1250 kg payload capacity. This capability is complemented by its construction on a modular skateboard platform and a tubular box-type chassis, ensuring both the safe and efficient transportation of cargo. Furthermore, the Storm EV LR variant, powered by a 30 kWh liquid-cooled battery pack, promises a driving range exceeding 200 km, setting a new standard in electric cargo transportation.
Revolutionizing Commercial Transport with Advanced Features
The electric 4-wheelers from Euler Motors bring forth advanced technical specifications, including a liquid-cooled battery powered by Arc Reactor 200. This battery not only produces a peak power of 30 kW (40.2 hp) and peak torque of 140 Nm but also achieves a remarkable efficiency of 92 percent.Thanks to these features, the Storm EV can reach a top speed of 70 kmph. Moreover, with options for onboard chargers, the vehicle's battery can be charged within 4 to 6 hours, and a fast charger even allows for a 30-minute charge to support 100 km of travel.
Euler Motors has gone to great lengths to ensure the Storm EV's durability and safety. The vehicle is built with front and back rigid axles, alongside a tubular box-type chassis, offering two specific variants tailored to varying operational needs.
The standard and armoured variants differ in their suspension systems and tire sizes, specially designed to tackle Indian road conditions. Safety enhancements like roll arrest bars and vacuum assist power braking with a load-sensing proportional valve contribute to the vehicle's stability and safe handling.
Interior Innovation and Government Initiatives
On the inside, the Storm EV does not disappoint, offering a 10.2-inch infotainment screen integrated with maps and WhatsApp for improved connectivity and location sharing. The vehicle is packed with features for both comfort and safety, including LED headlights, a dash cam, night vision assist, and a digital lock, among others. Euler Motors even provides free 1 GB of internet data daily, ensuring entertainment and connectivity throughout the journey.
In addition to the company's advancements, the Indian government has taken steps to support the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem by revising guidelines for the installation and operation of EV charging stations. This move, alongside the innovative offerings from companies like Euler Motors, is set to transform the commercial transportation landscape in India.
The Storm EV is not only capable in terms of cargo capacity and range but also pioneers in safety and convenience with the introduction of the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), a first for commercial vehicles in the country. It offers three drive modes - Range, Thunder, and Rhino - each designed to optimize performance under different driving conditions.
