Entries Now Open For The Coppa Delle Alpi 2025 Classic Car Rally In March

The Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia is set to return to its winter schedule in 2025, after the previous edition took place in May. This classic car race will run from 12 to 16 March, offering participants a thrilling experience amidst the stunning Alpine scenery. The event will cover approximately 900 kilometres across Italy, Switzerland, and Austria.

On Wednesday, 12 March, Brescia will host the start of the event with technical and administrative checks. That afternoon, 32 crews will compete in head-to-head challenges for the Città di Brescia Trophy. The official race begins the next day, taking participants through Val Camonica and Tirano for lunch.

After lunch on Thursday, cars will travel through Valtellina to Bormio and Livigno. Drivers will face Time Trials on snow at Eira Pass before entering Switzerland via Munt la Schera tunnel. The first leg concludes in St. Moritz. On Friday, 14 March, the convoy returns to Italy through Val Müstair and crosses into Austria via Reschen Pass.

Stams will host Friday's lunch stop before cars proceed to Innsbruck and back into Italy through Brenner Pass, ending the day in Brixen. The final leg on Saturday includes Gardena and Pordoi Passes with a lunch break in Baselga di Pinè. The race finishes at Tonale Pass with a prize ceremony at Capanna Presena glacier.

The deadline for entries is set for 4:00 pm on Friday, 7 February 2025. Cars manufactured up to 1990 are eligible to participate. Confirmation of acceptance will be communicated by 14 February. Seven spots for the prestigious 1000 Miglia 2026 are available as prizes for successful competitors.

This year's event promises an exciting challenge due to its demanding weather conditions combined with breathtaking mountain views unique to the Alps. Participants can look forward to competing in 94 Time Trials and eight Average Trials throughout this remarkable journey.
