ENEOS Showcases Innovative Performance Vehicles And New EV Fluids At SEMA 2024
ENEOS, Japan's largest oil company, is showcasing its products at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Known for supplying lubricants to Asian vehicle manufacturers, ENEOS is introducing a new line of EV/Hybrid fluids. The booth will highlight their involvement in performance aftermarket and motorsports, featuring advanced products and display vehicles throughout the event.
The ENEOS booth #24133 will feature two notable cars: a widebody 1971 Datsun 240Z and a 1972 Toyota Celica. Both vehicles have undergone significant engine upgrades and modifications to appeal to performance enthusiasts. Additionally, two cars from the annual Show Car Contest will be displayed in Silver Lot V024 and V025.
John Lau's "Devil Z" Datsun 240Z, inspired by the anime series Wangan Midnight, will be showcased at the ENEOS booth. This project is a collaboration with designer Jon Sibal, featuring widebody styling and custom components. The car includes a Datsun 280ZX L28 engine modified with forged pistons and rods, controlled by a Haltech ECU for optimal performance.
Stephan Papadakis' 1972 Toyota Celica will also be on display. This personal project features a fully rebuilt engine with dual carburetors and upgraded suspension components. Papadakis' reputation in Import Drag Racing is well-known, having set records with FWD and RWD Hondas before joining Formula DRIFT.
The winner of the 2024 ENEOS x Pit+Paddock Show Car Contest, Justin Cashmore's 1960 Renault Dauphine, will be exhibited outdoors at SEMA. This unique build features a mid-engined Volkswagen VR6 engine and custom carbon fiber widebody design. The car has gained attention from various automotive media outlets.
Leo Barrit's Mk4 Toyota Supra JZA80, runner-up in the contest, will also be displayed outdoors. This Supra boasts an impressive specification with a fully rebuilt engine producing over 1100hp. It features custom twin-turbo setup and Varis widebody kit for enhanced performance and aesthetics.
New Product Launches
ENEOS is launching four new products in its EV/Hybrid Line at SEMA 2024. These include e-Axle Fluid designed for electrified vehicles and a high-performance antifreeze/coolant suitable for various vehicle types. The new products aim to improve energy efficiency and provide long-term protection for modern vehicles.
The ENEOS booth will host an autograph session with Team ENEOS Formula DRIFT drivers on November 6th at 2 PM. Attendees can meet champions like Fredric Aasbo and Dai Yoshihara alongside other team members.
