Electrify America And 4 Gen Logistics Initiate Electrification Project At Port Of Long Beach, California

Electrify America and 4 Gen Logistics have launched a new charging station at the Port of Long Beach, California. This facility is designed to support 4 Gen's growing fleet of zero-emission class 8 drayage trucks. The station includes 30 Hyper-Fast chargers, each capable of delivering speeds up to 350 kW. This infrastructure will help 4 Gen operate multiple daily shifts between the Inland Empire and the port efficiently.

The first phase of this electrification project includes a total of 44 chargers located in Rialto and at the Port of Long Beach. This initiative is part of Electrify America's broader strategy to cut down tailpipe emissions in Southern California, especially around the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. The project is partially funded by Electrify America's $25 million "Green City" investment, which targets Medium and Heavy Duty electrification projects in Long Beach and Wilmington, Los Angeles.
