First Electric MINI John Cooper Works Set For Dynamic Debut At Goodwood 2024
MINI will showcase a completely updated lineup at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, featuring the first electric MINI John Cooper Works E PROtotype. This model will make its dynamic debut by taking on the iconic hillclimb. The event is scheduled from 11th to 14th July 2024.
The MINI John Cooper Works E PROtotype marks a significant milestone as the first-ever electric model in this series. It combines an advanced electric powertrain with innovative design, reflecting MINI's dedication to electromobility and innovation. This model is set to celebrate its world premiere later this year.
Attendees at the festival can explore a variety of new models, including the MINI Countryman, MINI Aceman, and both three-door and newly announced five-door variants of the MINI Cooper. These models will be displayed in the First Glance paddock throughout the event.
The future John Cooper Works lineup will feature both petrol and all-electric models. Fans will have the opportunity to see these vehicles up close during the festival.
The MINI Cooper Electric will also be showcased in Electric Avenue. Visitors can experience next-level innovation through the MINI Mixed Reality experience, where virtual and real worlds merge. This unique 10-minute journey allows drivers to immerse themselves in the MINI universe while behind the wheel of a MINI Cooper Electric or a MINI Aceman, thanks to virtual reality technology.
This immersive experience can be found at Car Park M during the festival. It offers a glimpse into how technology is shaping the future of driving experiences.
