Eltra City Electric Autorickshaw Sets New Range Record: 225km In Full Charge

Greaves Electric Mobility is one of the companies meeting this demand with their Eltra City electric three-wheeler. Recently, this vehicle achieved a significant milestone by covering 225 km on a single charge.
The Eltra City electric autorickshaw's journey from Bengaluru to Mysore without needing a recharge is noteworthy. This distance surpasses the range of even the most expensive electric scooters available in the country. Greaves Electric Mobility proudly announced this accomplishment, highlighting the vehicle's potential to generate substantial profits for drivers.
As part of Independence Day celebrations, Greaves Electric Mobility embarked on a record-breaking journey called the "Eltra City Freedom Ride." The Eltra City impressed by traveling up to 225 km on a single charge, exceeding expectations. This journey showcased the vehicle's efficiency, profitability, and zero-emission capabilities.
The journey included stops at notable locations such as Vidhana Soudha, HAL Ajit on Kapan Road, and Tipu Sultan's tomb. The trip concluded at the Freedom Fighter's Park in Mysore. This event demonstrated that the Eltra City is not only highly efficient but also an ideal vehicle for urban use.
The Eltra City runs on a 10.8 kWh lithium-ion battery paired with a 9.6 kW motor. This combination ensures a smooth and efficient ride. The electric auto boasts a payload capacity of up to 528 kg and a 14-degree gradeability capability. It produces up to 49 Nm torque, making it suitable for various terrains.
This electric auto also features hill-hold assist, enhancing its usability on inclines. Its design makes it well-suited for urban environments, handling rough roads while providing safe travel. The Eltra City's long-range capability further solidifies its position as one of the best electric autorickshaws available in India.
