EBay UK Unveils Priciest Car Parts And Accessories Sold In 2024

eBay has unveiled the priciest car parts and accessories sold on its UK platform this year, showcasing a diverse range of items. The top purchase was a 5.2-litre V10 engine from an Audi R8 with 38,598 miles.

The most expensive items were dominated by performance car parts. An Audi R8 5.2 V10 petrol engine topped the list at £16,567. Following closely were two sets of Porsche carbon bucket seats: one for a 911 GT3 at £13,085 and another for a Cayman GT4 at £11,962.

The list also featured exclusive vehicle registrations like 'ELON X' and 'DIESEL,' each fetching £8,606 and £8,135 respectively. These purchases highlight the variety of unique items available on eBay's marketplace.

A Tesla Model S battery pack was another notable item, sold for £8,606. This offers a significant saving compared to the cost of a new Tesla battery.

Other Noteworthy Sales

A complete set of tailored luggage for Ferrari’s 512TR was bought for £8,518, making it the sixth most expensive item. Additionally, a 5.0-litre V8 engine for an L405 Range Rover sold for £7,884.

Diverse Range of High-End Parts

Other high-end parts included a Porsche 991 Turbo S PDK gearbox (£7,650) and an incomplete 1965 Ford Mustang project car (£7,450). These sales demonstrate the breadth of items available on eBay.
