EBay Stage Sets The Scene With Motorsport Legends And Live Music At Silverstone Festival

eBay is set to bring the DIY spirit to the Silverstone Festival with The eBay Stage, featuring motorsport VIPs, quizzes, music, and giveaways. Attendees will enjoy live car clinics hosted by Mike Brewer and Marc "F1 Elvis" Priestley. Music performances from headliners Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Olly Murs, and Busted will also take place on The eBay Stage.

The festival, held at the iconic British circuit from 23rd – 25th August, marks eBay's first appearance at Silverstone. Fans of 1970s Minis can look forward to seeing TV’s Wheeler Dealers’ Mike Brewer and Marc 'F1 Elvis' Priestley spotlighting a 1972 Morris Mini live on stage. The event will also feature many other classic cars throughout the weekend.

Located opposite the Village Green, the eBay Garage will host talks with celebrities like Ant Anstead and Jodie Kidd. This interactive space allows attendees to immerse themselves in vehicle parts and accessories. Visitors can explore various experiences such as Order Point to check out parts that fit their vehicles.

Beyond the track action, festivalgoers can enjoy historic racing with Touring, Sports GT, and Formula 1 cars from past eras. Laura Richards, Category Lead for eBay Parts and Accessories, expressed excitement about their debut at Silverstone Festival. She highlighted the event's diverse offerings beyond motorsport enthusiasts, including unmissable music and famous automotive figures.

The festival promises more than just car-related activities. A Fan Zone will allow fans to get close to modern Formula 1 car tech. Additionally, there will be a "Foodie Fest" where attendees can sample local produce from Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm Shop. Live demos from celebrated chefs and food writers will take place on the Silverstone Kitchen Live stage.
