Dodge Launches 2025 Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead With Striking Features
The Dodge brand has unveiled a new special-edition model, the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead. This SUV boasts a powerful 710-horsepower engine, continuing the legacy of the HEMI engine in Dodge's performance vehicles. First introduced in 2004, the HEMI engine has been a staple in the Durango lineup. The latest special-edition models include the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet and the Dodge Durango R/T 20th Anniversary models. These vehicles are now available for order at dealerships, but only in limited quantities.
The 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead stands out with its unique features. It includes Hammerhead Grey Laguna leather seats, Sepia SRT Hellcat logos on seatbacks, and 20-by-10-inch Satin Carbon wheels. The exterior is highlighted by a deep blue Night Moves colour, while inside, it features a premium wrapped instrument panel and forged carbon-fibre accents.
This special edition also comes equipped with a supercharged 6.2-litre HEMI Hellcat V-8 engine. This engine allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 180 mph. The TorqueFlite 8HP95 eight-speed automatic transmission enhances driving dynamics with steering-wheel-mounted paddles for manual shifting.
The Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead offers seven Drive modes: Auto, Sport, Track, Snow, Tow, Eco, and Valet. Standard SRT Performance Pages provide detailed information on vehicle performance metrics like timers and g-force readings. Configurable Drive Modes and Race Options give drivers more control over Launch Control and Shift Light features.
Inside, the vehicle is packed with advanced technology. It features a 10.1-inch touchscreen with navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless charging capabilities. A premium Harman Kardon sound system with 19 speakers and an 825-watt amplifier ensures high-quality audio.
