Dodge Celebrates Durango's 20 Years With HEMI-Powered Special Editions
Dodge is celebrating 20 years of HEMI-powered Dodge Durango production by introducing two special-edition models: the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet and the Dodge Durango R/T 20th Anniversary. The HEMI engine was first offered in the Durango in 2004, marking the start of a powerful legacy for Dodge’s three-row performance SUV.
"The HEMI engine has fueled the Dodge Durango for 20 years, and the supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V-8 HEMI engine option transforms the Durango into the most powerful SUV ever," said Matt McAlear, Dodge brand CEO – Stellantis. "The Dodge Durango and the HEMI engine form a powerful pair, and with this announcement, Dodge continues to deliver HEMI power to enthusiasts and families alike."
The 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet builds on the already impressive performance of the standard SRT Hellcat model. This special edition features exclusive elements such as a Satin Black painted hood, Grey metallic SRT Hellcat badging, and unique interior accents. It retains its supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V-8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) like Blind-spot Monitoring with Trailer Detect and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop. The starting MSRP for this model is $113,325 (excluding destination charge).
The 2025 Dodge Durango R/T 20th Anniversary model celebrates two decades of HEMI power in the Durango lineup. It comes equipped with features like a Black HEMI hood graphic, "345" fender badging with Brass Monkey accents, and distinctive Tupelo bronze-like stitching on SRT seats. This model also includes performance enhancements such as adaptive damping suspension and Brembo brakes.
The Plus trim option adds amenities like a power sunroof, nine-speaker Alpine audio system, heated seats in both rows, and more ADAS features. The Premium trim further enhances the vehicle with a Harman Kardon sound system, suede headliner, black roof rails, and additional safety features. The Plus trim starts at $66,970 while the Premium trim begins at $70,470 (both excluding destination charges).
