Dodge Direct Connection Expands Offerings With Hellephant A30 And Drag Pak 354 Supercharged Engine Blocks
Dodge is enhancing its Direct Connection performance parts line by introducing the Hellephant A30 426 Supercharged Crate HEMI and Drag Pak 354 Supercharged Crate HEMI engine blocks. These products will be available through Direct Connection, alongside three new supercharger kits for the 6.2-liter HEMI crate engines. These offerings will be showcased at the 2024 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas from November 5-8.
Direct Connection, which began in 1974 and was revitalised in 2022, serves as Dodge's official source for high-performance parts and technical expertise. It caters to muscle-car enthusiasts seeking "ready to run" components. Products can be purchased at DCPerformance.com or through certified Dodge Power Brokers dealerships.
The Hellephant A30 and Drag Pak 354 engine blocks will be available in various machined configurations for custom builds via Callies Performance Products. The Hellephant A30 has a U.S. MSRP of $8,815, while the Drag Pak 354 is priced at $10,570. Orders for these new engine blocks and supercharger kits can be placed starting Q1 2025.
The Direct Connection portfolio is expanding with three supercharger kits designed to enhance performance and drivability for various vehicle projects. These kits support both enthusiasts and racers in achieving their desired vehicle builds.
The Direct Connection 3.0L E85 Supercharger Kit is derived from the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170, boasting 1,025 horsepower and 950 lb.-ft. of torque. This IHI Supercharger offers a 30% increase in airflow over the Hellcat Redeye's 2.7L supercharger, producing up to 21 PSI with flex fuel capability.
Features include a twin-screw supercharger with a smaller pulley for more overdrive, high-flow fuel injectors, an ethanol sensor, and all necessary installation components. The kit's part number is P5160624AA, with an MSRP of $11,995.
The Direct Connection also offers a 2.4L Supercharger Replacement Snout Kit from the Hellcrate engine with features like a Gates drive belt and installation hardware. Its part number is 68675006AA with an MSRP of $1,095.
Additional Options
A third option is the Direct Connection 2.7L Supercharger Replacement Snout Kit from the Hellcrate Redeye engine, featuring similar components as the other kits but tailored for different power needs. This kit's part number is 68675007AA with an MSRP of $1,295.
The Direct Connection range includes Modern Performance, Crate Engine, Race, and Vintage Muscle products for Dodge vehicles. These parts are developed by SRT engineers and come with a Mopar warranty for peace of mind.
