Dodge Charger Daytona And Jeep Models Achieve Top Residual Value Awards From J.D. Power In 2025
Stellantis has achieved notable recognition in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. ALG Residual Value Awards. The Dodge Charger Daytona, Jeep Gladiator, and Jeep Wagoneer have been acknowledged for their exceptional residual values. The Dodge Charger Daytona leads the electric car segment, while the Jeep Gladiator tops midsize pickups. The Jeep Wagoneer secures its position as the best among large SUVs for the third year running.
The Dodge Charger Daytona is celebrated for its blend of electric performance and classic muscle car design. "The brand-new Dodge Charger Daytona showcases the future of muscle cars, bringing together the instant torque and fun of an electric car with the unmistakable muscle car styling and heritage of a Dodge Charger," said Danny Battaglia from J.D. Power. This model's strong performance and competitive pricing have made it a standout in its category.
The previous generation of the Dodge Charger had a successful run, winning eight consecutive ALG Residual Value Awards from 2015 to 2022. Matt Thompson from Stellantis North America noted that this new generation continues that legacy by excelling in its segment.
The Jeep Wagoneer has maintained its top spot among large SUVs due to its iconic design and luxury features. "Jeep Wagoneer delivers the iconic Jeep design characteristics in conjunction with an extremely competitive pricing and many luxury features," added Battaglia. Its strong value proposition has been pivotal in securing this award.
In addition to these accolades, other Stellantis models like the Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, and Wagoneer L also performed well, ranking second in their respective categories. The Ram ProMaster secured second place in the commercial van category.
Midsize Pickup Leader
The Jeep Gladiator stands out for combining traditional design with modern innovation. It offers unmatched off-road capability and versatility, making it a leader in the midsize pickup segment. Battaglia highlighted that "Gladiator provides the capability of a pickup, the adventure of a true off-road vehicle in a competitive price leading it to win the Residual Value Award."
This model is available in various trims such as Sport, Willys, and Mojave, each offering unique features like open-air freedom with removable doors and roofs.
Performance Highlights
The Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack is known for its impressive speed and power, reaching 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds with 670 horsepower. Meanwhile, the Charger Daytona R/T offers significant performance improvements over previous models with 496 horsepower.
The Jeep Gladiator boasts a standard V-6 engine delivering 285 horsepower and can tow up to 7,700 pounds. Its versatile cargo box adds to its functionality.
Wagoneer's Advanced Features
The Jeep Wagoneer combines heritage with modern technology, offering features like Uconnect 5 system and Amazon Fire TV integration. Its powerful Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine ensures both efficiency and strength.
This SUV accommodates up to eight passengers comfortably while providing ample cargo space. It also excels in towing capabilities with options like an Advanced All-Terrain Group available.
