Daimler Truck UK Sells Wentworth Park Site To Ensure Continued Operations
Daimler Truck UK has ensured the future of its prominent Wentworth Park complex in South Yorkshire by finalising a land sale to Culina Asset Management (CAM). CAM will now occupy the 34-acre site near Junction 36 of the M1 and continue operating its extensive workshop.
Wentworth Park serves as the hub for national programmes related to re-marketing and sales of used Mercedes-Benz and FUSO Canter trucks. It also houses the brand’s demonstrator fleet. Despite the sale, Daimler Truck UK will maintain its presence on-site, ensuring that customer services remain largely unchanged.

Heiko Selzam, Managing Director of Daimler Truck UK, expressed satisfaction with the sale's completion. He stated, "We’re delighted to announce the completion of this sale, which will allow Wentworth Park and all the services we offer from this impressive site to continue to flourish."
Selzam highlighted the benefits of collaborating with CAM, noting that it allows Daimler Truck UK to retain essential brand functions while entrusting workshop responsibilities to a reliable partner. "By collaborating with CAM we can maintain all of the important brand functions we carry out here, while passing responsibility for the workshop to a trusted partner with an impeccable track record," he added.
CAM plans to use the facilities not only for Daimler Truck UK's needs but also for its own operations. The company currently manages a fleet of approximately 5,000 tractor units, including some Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and 8,000 trailers.
CAM's Strategic Development
Culina Asset Management Managing Director David Meir commented on the significance of this acquisition. He said, "This one-off opportunity to occupy and operate Wentworth Park is seen by CAM as key to the continued strategic development of our offering to both internal and external customers."
The agreement ensures that CAM will continue providing necessary workshop services to Daimler Truck UK while leveraging the site for its broader operational needs.
This strategic move secures Wentworth Park’s role in supporting both companies' growth and operational efficiency.
