Dacia Spring Introduces Electric Boost Offer To Make EVs More Accessible In The UK
The All-New Dacia Spring, the UK's most affordable new electric car starting at £14,995, is now even more accessible. A limited-time 'Electric Boost' worth up to £500 for finance and cash buyers reduces the cost of this all-electric supermini to as low as £158 per month on a four-year, 3.9% APR representative PCP offer.
Available until the end of September, the 'Electric Boost' coincides with the first customer deliveries in October. This offer aims to make it easier for buyers to switch from traditional petrol or diesel vehicles to a new electric vehicle (EV). The boost provides customers with £500 towards their deposit when financing through Mobilize Financial Services via PCP.
The Dacia Spring comes in Expression and Extreme trim levels, featuring either a 45 hp or 65 hp electric motor. Standard features include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors, Media Control system with USB port, electric front windows, and remote central locking.
The car offers a usable range of up to 140 miles (WLTP mixed cycle) or 186 miles (WLTP urban cycle). Its compact 26.8 kWh battery can be charged from 20% to 100% in four hours using a 7kW charger.
When purchased through the same four-year, 3.9% APR representative PCP finance package, the Expression 45 version costs £158 per month. The more powerful Expression 65 and Extreme 65 trim levels cost £1681 and £1782 per month respectively. Cash customers also benefit from the £500 'Electric Boost', reducing the Spring's entry price to £14,495.
Dacia’s in-house electric vehicle charging solutions provider, Mobilize Power Solutions, allows customers to add the cost of a home charger to their monthly payment for under £20 per month. This enables buyers to install a domestic charger that takes advantage of smart off-peak tariffs from as little as 7 pence per kilowatt-hour.
Comprehensive Standard Features
The Expression trim includes features such as a height-adjustable steering wheel, speed limiter, steering wheel-mounted controls, central locking with remote control, rear parking sensors, manual air conditioning, and 15-inch wheels (only on Electric 65). The Extreme trim adds copper interior and exterior finishes, electric mirrors and rear windows, Media Nav Live multimedia system with a 10-inch centre screen, two USB ports, wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a bi-directional charger for external appliances.
The Dacia Spring offers exceptional storage volume for its class. With up to 1,004 litres of luggage space when the rear seats are folded down, it rivals many vehicles in higher segments.
Ordering Information
The All-New Dacia Spring can be ordered online via www.dacia.co.uk or at any official Dacia retailer. The introduction of the 'Electric Boost' complements existing Dacia Spring PCP finance deals that match the initial deposit to the monthly payment.
Dacia has always aimed to offer value-for-money cars by focusing on essential features. Since its relaunch by Renault Group in 2004 across Europe and Mediterranean countries, Dacia has sold over eight million vehicles in 44 countries. In the UK alone since its launch in January 2013, more than 250,000 Dacia vehicles have been sold.
"The All-New Dacia Spring combines incredible value with comprehensive standard specifications," said a company spokesperson. "It offers everyday usability while rewriting the EV rulebook."
