Clash Of Motoclans: Chetan Shivram And Revv Hard Delivers An Event Like None Other!

The Indian motorsport scene is about to get a whole lot more fun, and a whole lot more exciting, with a new league - Clash of Motoclans!

This model, spearheaded by Chetan Shivram and Revv Hard, is the world's first franchise based 4-Wheeler autocross. But Clash of Motoclans isn't just about creating a new racing format, it's also about taking accessibility and inclusivity to a whole new level.

How Does Clash of Motoclans Work?

Inspired by the wildly popular Indian Premier League (IPL), Clash of Motoclans operates on a franchise model. 10 teams, each owned by passionate motorsport enthusiasts, have been established across India. Unlike the IPL's focus on cricketers, these team owners get to build their own team of racers through an auction process.

While there's no limit on the total number of drivers a team can have, each round features a maximum of four competing per team. Here's where things get interesting: at least one of these four drivers must be female.

This rule aims to break barriers in a sport traditionally dominated by men. It's a chance for female drivers to showcase their skills on a national platform, potentially inspiring a new generation of women racers to take the wheel.

But How do the Teams Win?

Unlike traditional autocross where a single driver accumulates points, Clash of Motoclans takes a team-oriented approach. To determine the winner of each round, the fastest times are tallied for the two male drivers and the female driver from each team.

The team with the quickest average time across these three drivers is crowned the winner. This adds a whole new layer of strategy and teamwork to the competition, as teams need to consider not just individual talent but also driver compatibility and overall team performance.

The Founders: Chetan Shivram and Revv Hard

Leading the charge behind Clash of Motoclans is none other than Chetan Shivram, a household name in Indian motorsports. His illustrious career boasts numerous accolades, including conquering the 2012 National Autocross Championship and dominating the 2019 INRC categories.

Chetan Shivram

Chetan Shivram isn't just a champion racer; he's a passionate advocate for growing the sport in India. Clash of Motoclans is a testament to this dedication. By establishing a franchise league, he aims to bring the thrill of autocross to cities across the country, bringing together a spirit of competition and nurturing a new generation of motorsport enthusiasts.

His expertise and experience is extremely important in shaping the league's format, from the team-oriented scoring system to the focus on inclusivity with the mandatory female driver rule. With Shivram at the driver's seat, Clash of Motoclans has the potential to redefine Indian motorsports, leaving a trail of dust and excitement in its wake.

Born in 2019 from a deep love for racing, Revv Hard's mission is to ignite a revolution in how motorsports is seen in India. They started by turning their YouTube channel into a powerhouse for showcasing bikes, cars, and the true action of racing and rallying events across the nation. Whether it's asphalt or dirt, Revv Hard is dedicated to showcasing the thrill of motorsports from every angle.
