Citroen eC3 Shine Variant Launched in India - Prices Start At Rs 13.20 lakh
French carmaker Citroen has launched the new Shine variant of the eC3 electric hatchback. Prices for the Citroen eC3 Shine variants start at Rs 13.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Shine trim level is the new top-spec version of the all-electric Citroen eC3 lineup in India. With the introduction of the new Shine variants, the eC3 is now offered in three trim levels - Live, Feel and Shine.
The 2024 Citroen eC3 lineup starts with the Live variant which is priced at Rs 11,61,000 (ex-showroom). Next comes the eC3 Feel variant which commands a price tag of Rs 12,69,800 (ex-showroom).
The eC3 Feel variant with the Vibe Pack is priced at Rs 12,84,800 (ex-showroom) while the dual-tone version of the Feel Vibe Pack is now priced at Rs 12,99,800 (ex-showroom).
The new Citroen eC3 Shine variant is priced at Rs 13,19,800 (ex-showroom). Add the Vibe pack to the eC3 Shine and you'll have to pay Rs 13,34,800 (ex-showroom) while the eC3 Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack commands a price tag of Rs 13,49,800 (ex-showroom).
So just what do the new Shine variants bring over the Feel trim level as the new top-spec version of the Citroen eC3 for India? The new Shine variants of the eC3 electric hatch add on front and rear skid plates, and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Other addtions on the new eC3 variant include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear wiper and washer, and a reverse parking camera along with everything else offered by the Feel variant.
Mechanically, the new eC3 Shine is the same as the other versions of the electric hatchback that were already on sale in India. The Citroen eC3 draws power from a 29.2kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 320km on a single charge.
The Citroen eC3's battery pack sends power to a single electric motor that powers the front wheels. The eC3's motor pushes out 56bhp and 143Nm of peak torque.
Thoughts About The Citroen eC3 Shine
The arrival of the Citroen eC3 Shine sees the French marque add a new top-spec trim level to its electric hatchback for India. The feature upgrades for an additional Rs 50,000 should hopefully attract more customers to the quirky French electric hatch.
