Citroen C3 Gets New Colour Option – ‘Zesty Orange’ Gets Discontinued
In a recent move to refresh its lineup, Citroen India has introduced new colour options for its popular entry-level hatchback, the C3. The model now boasts four monotone and seven dual-tone exterior colours. This update aims to enhance the visual appeal for customers, starting at Rs. 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Citroen C3 now dazzles in a new Cosmo Blue shade, available in both monotone and dual-tone finishes. This introduction compensates for the removal of the Zesty Orange from the lineup. Currently, the hatchback can be adorned in Polar White, Platinum Grey, Steel Grey, and the newly introduced Cosmo Blue.
Available in three distinct trim levels-Live, Feel, and Shine-the C3 is designed to cater to diverse consumer needs and budgets. With the introduction of new colours, Citroen India aims to strengthen its position in the competitive hatchback segment by offering an even more appealing product to prospective buyers.
Beneath its vibrant exterior, the Citroen C3 remains mechanically unchanged. It is equipped with two engine options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 81bhp and 115Nm of torque, and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces a more robust 109bhp and 190Nm of torque.
That being said, both these engine options are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard. This ensures a more balanced combination of performance and fuel efficiency. Moreover, an automatic gearbox could soon be offered to widen its appeal.
With these updates, Citroen not only aims to capture the attention of potential customers but also to solidify its presence in the hatchback market. The introduction of new colour options and the maintenance of its competitive pricing structure position the C3 as a compelling choice for buyers.
