Citroen C3 Automatic Bookings Commence: A Blend Of Power & Safety
Citroen has officially opened bookings for the automatic version of its C3 hatchback. Although the price for this new variant is yet to be disclosed, the updated model starts at Rs. 6.16 lakh.
The C3 AT features a 6-speed automatic gearbox paired with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine delivers 109bhp and 190Nm of torque (205Nm with AT gearbox). Additionally, the Citroen C3 offers a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 81bhp and 115Nm of torque, but this version only comes with a five-speed manual gearbox.
New Features and Safety Enhancements
Citroen has introduced several new features in the updated C3, focusing on both safety and convenience. Safety upgrades include six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and three-point seat belts.
Convenience features have also been enhanced with additions such as power window switches on the doors, a grab handle for the front passenger, auto-folding ORVMs, LED projector headlamps, and automatic air conditioning.

Prospective buyers can book any variant of the Citroen C3 through the official website or authorised dealerships across India. The newly launched C3 AT aims to attract a broad range of customers seeking an automatic vehicle.
This new automatic version is expected to compete primarily with models like the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter, which feature automated manual transmissions (AMT) rather than a full automatic transmission like the C3 AT.
