Citroen Basalt Interiors Teased Ahead Of Its Launch: Unveil On August 2
The Citroen Basalt will be officially unveiled on 2 August. A new teaser has provided a glimpse of the significant interior upgrades it will feature compared to the C3 Aircross. The teaser also marks the first official reveal of the car's shape.
In the teaser, three key interior enhancements are highlighted: armrests for both front and rear passengers, and enhanced side support for the headrests. Additionally, the rear armrest includes a slot for holding a phone.

Citroen Basalt: Design & Interior Upgrades
The Basalt's design, as shown in the teaser images, includes LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and LED projector headlamps. These features are expected to be introduced to the C3 Aircross soon as part of planned updates.
This model is Citroen's fourth locally produced vehicle in India under its C-Cube programme. It will come equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that delivers 115bhp and 215Nm of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.
