Captain + Stoker, a cherished coffee shop and roastery in Monterey, has been appointed the official coffee vendor for WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Since signing on in early May, Captain + Stoker has served fans at consecutive races and participated in two of this year's four Cars & Coffee Community Events. Known for their high-quality coffee and community focus, Captain + Stoker opened in 2018 and quickly became a local favourite.

The track's dedication to fostering local partnerships aligns seamlessly with Captain + Stoker’s commitment to community support. By bringing their loyal following of coffee lovers and adventure enthusiasts to the track, Captain + Stoker enhances the raceway experience for everyone. Co-owners Tyler Ellis and Kelsea Richmond bring a unique passion for racing to their new role at the raceway. Tyler Ellis shared, "We grew up in Michigan, and I was in the small car scene that our town had as a teenager. We actually went to Gridlife Midwest and would take trips to Maryland for the H2O event. Years later we moved to Charleston, South Carolina. There I worked for a Porsche race team. With them I was able to travel to all different tracks around the South, Midwest, and East Coast and it was such a great time! We've also had many different motorcycles over all these years, which I have actually been able to take on the track myself."

Looking forward to their new concessionaire agreement, Tyler added, "We plan to continue to be a partner of Laguna Seca for years to come! It has been amazing to see all the upgrades the track is making and we are honoured to be a part of the 'new' Laguna Seca!"
