Build Your Dreams, also known as BYD has recently launched the third vehicle to its lineup in the Indian market, known as the Seal.
The BYD Seal was launched in India and bookings were opened on the 6th of March, and within a couple of days, it made 200+ bookings. BYD aims to expand its sales and service network to reach 90% of the Indian market.

Those who book the Seal before March 31, 2024, will get the added benefits of a 7-kWh home charger, a 3-kWh portable charging box, a BYD seal VTOL (vehicle to load) mobile power supply unit, 6 years of roadside assistance, and one inspection service.
When it comes to warranty, the BYD Seal is sold with 1.60 Lakh km or 8-year warranty on the battery; a 1.50 Lakh km or 8-year warranty on the motors; and a 1.50 Lakh km or 6-year warranty on the car itself.

The Seal is offered in three different variants. Dynamic package, priced at 41 Lakhs and puts out a respectable 201bhp and 310 Nm of torque. Moving onto the Premium package, sold at 45.55 Lakhs and puts out an impressive 308bhp and 360Nm of torque. And lastly, the performance package, priced at 53 Lakhs puts out a powerful 522bhp and 670 Nm of torque.
In terms of colour options that BYD the Seal will be available in, we get them in 4 colour variants that range from Aurora white, Atlantis Grey, Arctic Blue, and Cosmos Black.

Mr. Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business, BYD India stated that he was overwhelmed by the incredible response in the Indian market after the launch of the Seal.
The Seal will be the third car sold by BYD in the Indian Domestic Market adding to their current fleet of the e6 and the Atto3.

With the BYD Seal set to hit the Indian market as a top-end electric sedan, we can only hope to see the EV market expanding to cater to a wider audience. Also, BYD can be seen enhancing their lineup in India signalling that at least some brands, if not all, see an EV future for the country.
