BYD Atto 3 New Variants: Top Highlights You Need To Know
BYD has recently expanded its Atto 3 lineup by introducing three new variants. The entry-level variant now features a smaller battery, while the top-spec models retain their existing units. This move aims to cater to a broader customer base and provide more options for potential buyers.
The new variants of the BYD Atto 3 include Dynamic, Premium, and Superior. This expansion in the product portfolio is expected to attract a diverse range of customers. The Dynamic variant is priced at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 24.99 lakh, making it more affordable compared to previous models.

Battery and Driving Range
The entry-level Dynamic variant offers an ARAI-tested range of 468km and an NEDC-claimed range of 410km, powered by a 49.92kWh battery. In contrast, the Premium and Superior variants boast higher ranges with ARAI-claimed 521km and NEDC-claimed 480km, thanks to their larger 60.48kWh batteries.
Previously, the extended range version of the Atto 3 was available at Rs. 33.99 lakh, while the special edition cost Rs. 34.49 lakh. The introduction of the Dynamic variant at a lower price point is expected to make electric vehicles more accessible.

New Colour Option
In addition to existing colour choices, the 2024 BYD Atto 3 now comes in a new Cosmos Black exterior colour. This addition provides customers with more aesthetic options when choosing their vehicle.
The introduction of these new variants and competitive pricing is likely to enhance BYD's presence in the electric vehicle market. By offering different battery capacities and driving ranges, BYD aims to meet varying customer needs and preferences.

This strategic move by BYD not only broadens its product range but also makes electric vehicles more affordable for a wider audience. The new Cosmos Black colour option adds an extra layer of appeal for potential buyers looking for both performance and style in their electric SUV.
