New Variants Of BYD Atto 3 Launched In India At Rs 24.99 Lakh

BYD has introduced new variants for its Atto 3 electric SUV in India. The lineup now includes Dynamic, Premium, and Superior variants. Previously, the Atto 3 was available only in a fully loaded version. Thanks to the introduction of new variants, prices for the Atto 3 now start at Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Atto 3 New Variants Price

The Dynamic variant of the Atto 3 is priced at Rs 24.99 lakh (introductory price), making it more affordable. In fact, the base variant is more affordable by Rs 9 lakh compared to the top-spec variant, which continues to be priced at Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Premium variant is positioned between these two at Rs 29.85 lakh (ex-showroom).

Atto 3 New Variants Features

The base Dynamic variant lacks some features such as ADAS, an electric tailgate, multi-colour ambient lighting, and an 8-speaker sound system. The mid-spec Premium variant misses out on ADAS and adaptive headlights but retains most other features.

Both new variants still offer a panoramic sunroof, a 6-way powered driver seat, heated electric ORVMs, a 12.8-inch infotainment system, wireless phone charger, auto AC, and a 360-degree camera.

The safety kit remains robust across all variants with features like seven airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program, tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX mounts, and hill descent control.

Atto 3 New Variants Powertrain

The Dynamic variant comes with a smaller 49.92kWh battery pack compared to the Premium and Superior trims, which sport a bigger 60.48kWh battery pack. Despite this difference in battery pack, electric motor remains the same and puts out 204PS and 310Nm of torque. Furthermore, the ARAI-claimed range stands at a very respectable 468km.

Power Output 204PS/310Nm

New Colour Option and Rivals

The BYD Atto 3 also introduces a new Cosmos Black colour option across its variants. With these additions to its lineup, the Atto 3 strengthens its position against competitors like the MG ZS EV and upcoming models such as the Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki eVX.

The introduction of these new variants aims to make the BYD Atto 3 more accessible to a wider audience while maintaining its premium appeal through consistent exterior LED lighting and synthetic leather seats across all trims. This strategic move by BYD is part of their broader mission to expand their presence in India’s growing electric vehicle market.
