Bradley Cooper Champions The Electric Future In Mercedes-Benz G-Class Campaign
Actor and director Bradley Cooper stars in a short film leading a new Mercedes-Benz campaign featuring the G 580 with EQ Technology. The film captures the essence of the G-Class through dramatic action sequences, showcasing its capabilities on both rugged terrain and city streets. It highlights the vehicle's ability to empower individuals to pursue their paths without fear of failure.
The Hollywood star, a long-time G-Class enthusiast, attended the world premiere event in Los Angeles. This event marked the launch of the product campaign, which will continue through its market introduction. "The G-Class has been a part of my life for nearly 20 years. For me, it’s always been more than a car: it’s been a companion on every adventure," said Bradley Cooper.
Earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz introduced the all-new G 580 with EQ Technology – its first fully electric variant of the iconic off-road vehicle. The upcoming market launch is supported by a global campaign featuring a brand film starring Bradley Cooper. This visually compelling campaign encourages individuals to follow their own paths without fearing failure, as the G-Class transforms obstacles into growth opportunities.

The global brand campaign will commence on September 13, 2024. It will be featured across various global brand channels of Mercedes-Benz and the G-Class, with start dates differing by market. The content range includes social media assets, TV commercials, and the brand film starring Bradley Cooper. Additionally, car-only campaign materials will appear in print publications.
The musical backdrop for the film is a new version of "Ain’t No Mountain High Enough," originally written by Nickolas Ashford & Valerie Simpson and published by EMI Music Publishing.
The Geländewagen Electrified: The All-New G-Class
The Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology combines tradition with progressive technology and marks another milestone in the brand's journey towards an electric future. Maintaining its distinctive character and iconic design, this model features an innovative drive concept with four individually controlled electric motors that enhance its legendary performance.
The all-new electric G-Class had its world premiere in April 2024 with simultaneous events in Los Angeles and Beijing.
