BMW X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition Launched At Rs 74.90 Lakh
German luxury carmaker BMW has launched the Shadow Edition X3 20d in India. The BMW X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition is priced at Rs 74.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The BMW X3 Shadow Edition is based on the xDrive20d M Sport variant of the luxury SUV. The new Shadow Edition sits atop the X3 lineup in India and costs around Rs 2.4 lakh more than the regular X3 xDrive20d M Sport.
This Shadow Edition of the X3 is powered by the same turbocharged inline four-cylinder diesel engine displacing 2.0 litres that powers the rest of the lineup. The engine pushes out 188bhp and 400Nm of peak torque to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox and BMW's xDrive setup.
The new Shadow Edition gets a few updates in terms of its looks with the exterior sporting a blacked-out kidney grille that is flanked by the blue accented Laser Light headlights.
Other exterior updates include a high-gloss black finish for the tailpipes, window graphics, roof rails and the surrounds for the grille. The BMW X3 Shadow Edition rides on 19-inch Y-spoke style 887 M alloy wheels and is available in two colours - Brooklyn Grey and Carbon Black.
The cabin of the new BMW X3 Shadow Edition has genuine Leather Vernasca Upholstery in two combinations - Mocha & Black both of which get contrast stitching in Blue. Other highlights include sports seats, an M leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons and electroplated trim elements for the air vents.
Other highlights include the panoramic glass roof, welcome light carpet, ambient lighting with six dimmable designs, three-zone automatic climate control, a smartphone holder with wireless charging and roller sunblinds for the rear windows.
The tech inside is also at the top of its game with 12.3-inch high-res screens for the infotainment and instrumentation. The infotainment screen supports BMW's gesture control and Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is connected to a 464W 16-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system.
