All-New BMW M5 Debuts With Bespoke M HYBRID Performance Enhancements
The launch of the new BMW M5 introduces a wide array of Original BMW Accessories, enhancing the dynamic character of this high-performance sedan. The M HYBRID drive system, delivering 727 hp and 1,000 Nm torque, ensures an unmatched performance experience. The car's exterior design is both powerful and puristic, featuring sculptural elements and a distinctive BMW M kidney grille.
BMW M Performance Parts are designed to refine the athletic appearance and aerodynamic balance of the new BMW M5. Carbon fibre exterior components accentuate the car’s dynamic lines while optimising its aerodynamic efficiency. The two-section M Performance rear diffuser in carbon fibre, paired with tailpipe trims made from a titanium/carbon fibre mix, adds a modern and sporty touch to the rear end.
The front splitter in carbon fibre further enhances both aerodynamics and visual impact. This component prominently showcases the central lower air intake, split into two by a central partition for the first time. Wide tracks and bespoke side frame designs give the BMW M5 muscular proportions, complemented by carbon fibre sill extensions that emphasise its athletic form.
The interior of the new BMW M5 can be customised with various M Performance Parts. These include floor mats with decorative stitching and badging, tyre bags printed with logos and wheel position graphics, and a key case in black fine-grain nappa leather. Each part is meticulously crafted to enhance the car's sporty feel.
Additionally, the fuel tank cap in carbon fibre extends exclusivity to finer details. This cap features brushed aluminium badging, adding a unique touch to the vehicle's overall aesthetic. The aerial cover aramid also brings a stylistic highlight to the car’s roof.
Performance Testing and Quality Assurance
All retrofit products have been developed using BMW M GmbH’s extensive motor-racing expertise. They have undergone rigorous testing according to BMW Group’s quality guidelines and homologation processes. This ensures that separate registration with vehicle licensing authorities is not required for these parts.
The official figures for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, electric power consumption, and electric range were determined based on European Regulation (EC) 2007/715 procedures. These figures account for optional extras' impact under WLTP standards.
