BMW M2 Launched In India At Rs 1.03 Crore
The launch of the new BMW M2 in India introduces a compact, two-door, four-seater sports car that promises high performance to its enthusiasts. Available as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model, this vehicle has already stirred excitement among sports car aficionados.
It comes in one variant, priced at an ex-showroom price of INR 1,03,00,000. This price includes GST and compensation cess but excludes road tax, TCS, GST on TCS, RTO, other local taxes, and insurance, emphasizing the need for potential buyers to check the final pricing with authorized BMW dealers for the most accurate cost.
Mr. Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India, shared his views on the launch, stating, "The second-generation BMW M2 has continued to set standards in its segment and is considered a quintessential dynamic driver's car. The model offers unparalleled driving pleasure with its combination of compact dimensions, a particularly potent powertrain and impressive driving dynamics. All complemented by unmistakable looks. The new BMW M2 raises the bar further up with even more power, greater visual impact than ever and innovative equipment features. It is ideally equipped to write the next chapter in the BMW M brand's history of success in this segment."
The new BMW M2 stands out with its array of available colors and upholstery options. Customers can choose from non-metallic paintworks like Alpine White and M Zandvoort Blue, or metallic options such as Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red, Portimao Blue, Sao Paulo Yellow, and Skyscraper Grey.
The interiors boast fine upholstery combinations including standard Leather Vernasca Black with contrast stitching in blue, black with an exclusive highlight, or red highlight. An exclusive option of Leather Merino with Black / exclusive highlight is available with the M Carbon Bucket seats, exemplifying the car's luxury and performance.
To ensure an optimal driving experience, the BMW M2 is equipped with state-of-the-art features. The Adaptive M-specific suspension, M Sport Differential, and M high-performance compound brakes guarantee superior handling and braking performance.
The interior is enhanced with standard M interior trim strips in Aluminium Rhombicle anthracite or optional M interior stripes in Carbon Fibre, adding to the sporty ambiance. Furthermore, the car's powerful six-cylinder in-line engine delivers an impressive output of 480 hp and up to 600 Nm of torque with automatic transmission, promising exhilarating performance.
