Bentley Motors Celebrated For Commitment To Sustainability, Inclusivity, And CSR
Bentley Motors has recently been honoured with multiple prestigious awards, showcasing its dedication to inclusivity, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability. The company received accolades at the Queer Student Awards, Auto Trader Awards, and the International CSR Excellence Awards.
The Queer Student Awards (QSA) are the UK's first annual celebration of talented young LGBTQ+ individuals. Bentley was named Employer of the Year for its efforts in fostering an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued. This recognition highlights Bentley's commitment to diversity and inclusion across all levels of the organisation.
Benjamin McCormick, Co-Chair of the BeProud Network at Bentley, was awarded Rising Star of the Year. His work in engaging colleagues to identify and remove barriers, provide peer support, and build networks of allies has been instrumental in raising awareness and support for LGBTQ+ topics within Bentley and the local community.
Commenting on his award, Benjamin McCormick said: "It was a wonderful surprise to be nominated for this award celebrating some amazing LGBTQ+ young people whose impact on the world often goes unrecognised. As someone who grew up struggling to find relatable role models, it is heart-warming to be considered and see awards such as the QSA provide a platform for others like me, showing that it is possible to be queer and thrive in study, work, and life."
Bentley's Environmental Foundation received the Sustainability Initiative Award from Auto Trader. This award recognises Bentley's significant efforts to address climate change through various global projects. The judges were impressed by the breadth of Bentley's sustainability initiatives.
Bentley's collaboration with local charities and Non-Governmental Organisations extends the reach and impact of its sustainability efforts. The Bentley Environmental Foundation works with global communities and charities to develop solutions for some of humanity's most pressing challenges related to climate change.
International CSR Excellence Awards
Bentley also won a gold award at the International CSR Excellence Awards for Community Commitment. This recognition was given for Bentley's new community investment strategy, Advancing Life Chances. The strategy showcases Bentley's commitment to corporate social responsibility and advancing life chances in the community.
The International CSR Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. These awards highlight organisations that demonstrate exceptional leadership and commitment to positive social and environmental impact through innovative projects and strategies.
