Bentley Motors Expands European Presence With Opening Of Bentley Tbilisi In Georgia
Bentley Motors has announced its expansion into the Georgian market with Bentley Tbilisi, which is set to open in spring 2025. The showroom, located at Aghmashenebeli Alley 129 in Tbilisi, is already welcoming visitors. This move comes as Bentley aims to strengthen its presence in Europe.
The new Bentley Tbilisi will feature a 330-square-metre showroom and a shared 730-square-metre workshop. These facilities will include an aftersales service area to cater to customer needs. Tegeta, an independent group, will manage the operations as the exclusive retailer for Bentley in Georgia.
In the first half of 2024, Bentley Motors achieved an operating profit of €261 million. The company delivered 5,476 cars worldwide, with 1,054 units sold in Europe, accounting for 19% of their global sales. This success underlines Bentley's strategic growth plans in the region.
The launch of Bentley Tbilisi coincides with the introduction of two Ultra Performance Hybrid models: the fourth-generation Continental GT and the Flying Spur Speed. These models are expected to meet increasing demand for personalised luxury vehicles through Mulliner customisation options.
Richard Leopold, Regional Director for Europe, UK, and MEAI at Bentley Motors, expressed enthusiasm about this development. He stated: "This appointment marks a new milestone for Bentley Motors in Georgia, a market we see with opportunity."
Future Prospects
Bentley Tbilisi aims to provide customers with a comprehensive experience of their full range of models and services. The operational team is already prepared to assist potential clients and answer any inquiries they may have.
The official opening of the showroom is anticipated in the first quarter of 2025. This expansion reflects Bentley's commitment to enhancing its market presence and offering exceptional experiences to its clientele.
