Bentley Bentayga S Black Edition - Gets Feature Not Seen In 105 Years
Bentley has just unveiled the Bentayga S Black Edition, which the firm describes as its "most visually captivating" SUV yet. The new Bentley Bentayga S Black Edition sports black-tinted wings on the iconic Bentley 'flying B' badge, a feature not seen before in the marque's 105 year history.
Despite bein called the Black Edition, the newest version of the Bentley Bentayga is offered in seven distinct colors - Mandarin, Signal Yellow, Klein Blue, Pillar Box Red, Ice, Hyper Green, and Beluga.

The exterior design of the Bentley Bentayga S Black Edition stands out from its siblings even firther thanls to the bespoke yellow accents adorning the front bumper, side sills, rear spoiler, and brake calipers. Adding to its allure are the 22-inch wheels painted in black, tinted headlights, and a special 'Black Edition' badge fixed on the D pillar.
Inside, the vehicle boasts yellow details on the seats, dashboard, and doors, alongside an embroidered black 'S' emblem on the seats. A new carbon fiber weave with a 3D effect enriches the center console and dashboard and there are three sound system optionsincluding the Bentley Signature Audio system, a premium Bang & Olufsen system, and an upgraded Naim for Bentley stereo.

The SUV retains the same powertrain options as the standard Bentayga S, featuring a choice between a 4.0-liter, turbocharged V8 engine and a plug-in hybrid 3.0-liter V6. The V8 engine delivers 542bhp and 770Nm of torque, whereas the V6 PHEV provides 456bhp, ensuring a powerful driving experience. The V8 version sprints from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 290km/h.
Enhancing its performance, the Black Edition also incorporates rear-wheel steering and active roll control technology that uses the SUV's 48V electrical system to react within 0.3s with up to 1,300 Nm of torque to counteract lateral rolling forces when cornering.

A sports exhaust is also included as standard on the Bentayga S Black Edition, with free-flowing primary and secondary pipes improving flow and combining with reduced perforations in the muffler to deliver enhanced character and volume, giving a more performance-oriented feel to the SUV.
Although the exact pricing for the Black Edition remains undisclosed, it is anticipated to be in the region of £200,000. This announcement marks a significant milestone for Bentley, introducing a unique and stylish variant to the Bentayga range that is sure to captivate luxury SUV enthusiasts.
