Avoid Underground Parking
Though many underground parking feature pumps to drain water, failure of these pumps can be disastrous. As such, it is best to avoid parking your car in underground parking areas during heavy rainfall.

Do Not Start The Car
The biggest mistake most people make during or after a flood is to check their car by starting it. We highly recommend towing the car to the nearest mechanic before cranking the engine after a flood.
Keep Sunroof Shut
While most people keep the windows and doors of their cars shut during rainfall, sometimes, the sunroof of the car might be left open. As such, ensure your car's sunroof is also shut during heavy rainfall or a flood.
Do Not Drive In Flood
We highly recommend not to drive your car during the flood as it is almost impossible to judge the condition of roads underneath the murky water. Also, driving on flooded areas increase the risk of flood damage.
Do Not Drive On The Edge Of The Road
If you are already driving during a flood, it is better to drive the car on the central part of the road as it is not only less susceptible to damage but is also likely to be the highest part on most roads.
