Bentley Motors Announces Departure Of Balazs Rooz, Richard Leopold To Lead Europe
Bentley Motors has announced the departure of Balazs Rooz, who served as Regional Director for Europe since June 2020. Rooz leaves the company by mutual consent and at his own request. Richard Leopold, currently the Regional Director for the UK and MEAI, will now also oversee the European region.
Richard Leopold, who joined Bentley Motors in 2007, brings extensive experience in both retail and wholesale automotive sectors. He previously held executive roles at Saab and Bentley. Leopold expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating, "I am excited to now also manage the European region building on the great work that Balazs has done in getting the new Continental GT off to such a powerful start. I look forward very much to working with the Bentley Europe team and the network of experienced retailers."
Christophe Georges, Global Sales and Marketing Director at Bentley Motors, acknowledged Rooz's contributions over his four-year tenure. Georges remarked, "I would like to take the opportunity to thank Balazs for his contribution over his four years at Bentley and wish him well for his future."
